ACFP's agency model for the 65% cause allocation
For an eligible ACF Club paid membership with a nominated participating cause, ACFP's operating model is to collect and hold 65% of the eligible membership fee as collection agent for that cause. The cause allocation is separately identified and recorded as an amount payable to the nominated organisation until remitted under the participation agreement and program terms.

Cause allocations are tracked separately from ACFP's retained program funds so the amount attributable to each participating organisation can be identified and reconciled.
Not available for ACFP's own use
While held as agent, the nominated cause's allocation is not treated as ACFP's retained program funding and is administered for remittance to that cause, subject to refunds, reversals and the program terms.
Contract-led treatment
The agency relationship, payment timing, reversals and each party's rights and obligations are to be set out in the cause participation agreement and member/program terms.

The board oversees ACFP’s charitable purpose, financial stewardship, risk, conflicts and compliance.
