Privacy

We collect only what we need to respond and operate our programs.

When you contact ACFP, register interest in a program or otherwise provide information to us, we may collect details such as your name, organisation, email address, phone number and the information you choose to provide.

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, administer programs, communicate with participants and partners, meet legal and governance obligations, and improve our services. We do not sell personal information.

ACFP may use service providers for website hosting, email, payment, administration or program delivery. Information is shared only where reasonably required for those functions or where required by law.

You can ask to access or correct personal information held by ACFP, or raise a privacy concern, by emailing acfp@acf.gold.

Complaints & feedback

Concerns can be raised directly with ACFP.

We welcome feedback and take complaints seriously. Matters are considered fairly, with appropriate confidentiality and board oversight where required.

How to raise a matter

Email acfp@acf.gold with the subject line Complaint or feedback. Please include enough detail for us to understand the issue and how you would like it addressed.

How we respond

ACFP will review the matter, seek further information where needed, identify any conflicts of interest, and escalate material matters to the board or an appropriate non-conflicted director.

Accessibility

We want our information to be usable by as many people as possible.

ACFP aims to provide a website that is clear, readable, keyboard-friendly and usable across common devices and assistive technologies. We continue to improve accessibility as the website and programs develop.

Program availability, eligibility, benefits and funding arrangements may change. Specific ACF Club participation, membership, payment and cause arrangements are governed by the applicable program terms and agreements.

Links to external websites are provided for convenience and verification. ACFP is not responsible for the content or availability of external websites.

Fundraising transparency

Cause allocations and ACFP funds are identified separately.

Held for the nominated cause

Under ACFP's agency model, 65% of each eligible paid ACF Club membership fee is held as collection agent for the member's nominated participating cause, separately recorded as payable to that cause, and administered under the applicable participation agreement and program terms.

Retained by ACFP

ACFP's retained program portion supports administration, compliance, platform operation and ACFP charitable programs. Separate terms apply to any prize-based activity that is legally authorised.

Membership payments are not donationsACF Club membership payments are payments for membership and are not represented as tax-deductible gifts. ACFP is not currently DGR-endorsed.

The legal and accounting treatment of cause funds follows the final contracts, the substance of the arrangements and applicable Australian accounting and tax requirements.
